Numbers 21:4-6

4 ¶ After they departed from the mount Hor by the way of the Red Sea, to [a]compass the land of Edom: and the people were sore grieved because of the way.
5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, saying, Wherefore have ye brought us out of Egypt, to die in the wilderness, for here is neither bread nor water, and our soul (A)loatheth this light [b]bread.
6 (B)Wherefore the Lord sent [c]fiery serpents among the people, which stung the people: so that many of the people of Israel died.
